Our SmartScreens Media Client provides publishing, integration and deployment of Web 2.0 desktop services directly to handheld devices. This SmartScreens Media Client runs on multiple OS platforms, including Windows Mobile, Android and Symbian, as well as Varia's complete end-to-end Linux-based OS solution, SmartScreensOS.

Our solution enables multiple online services to connect directly to mobile audiences. Varia provides the full experience of media and social networking services designed for presentation on small screens. In so doing, Varia's Screen Description Language (SDLâ„¢) virtually eliminates the typical limited functional mobile browser page views facing current technology solutions.

This technology integration allows Varia to easily deliver online content services directly to mobile devices. For example, Varia provides the most complete implementation of Real Network's Rhapsody Direct Service (RDS) allowing users to have the same functionality that is available on Real's desktop web client. Varia quickly and easily integrates new web services simply by utilizing the same APIs and instruction sets that are designed for the desktop environment.

Varia Mobile is a Seattle-based business-to-business software development company specializing in creating Linux-based mobile solutions. In September of 2007, Varia Mobile was divested from Tegic Communications (an AOL property) to form a new privately-funded entity.

The majority of our staff has worked together for more than seven years. Over this time we have built a rich suite of software applications, while the company has accumulated a significant patent portfolio. Additionally, our software has been productized several times throughout our history.

Currently, Varia Mobile is engaged with developing solutions that help to bring content providers, mobile operators and hardware manufacturers together to build innovative content rich applications for this ecosystem.
